Through local fundraising efforts, The Niverville Foundation is a community non profit organization that successfully promotes the health and well being of Niverville and surrounding area.
The seed funding for the Foundation was provided by Norman Wittick, a long time Niverville resident and community builder who wanted to leave a legacy to the community where he lived and worked. The founding directors of the Foundation were Abe Goertzen, Alex Fast Sr., Jack Stott, Ben W. Hiebert, Fred Kaita and George Sawatzky. Since its inception in 1992, the Foundation has raised more than $1M for projects in the Niverville community.
