About Us


With your help, The Niverville Foundation has been able to provide funds to the Heritage Center, the Heritage Life Personal Care Home, the Assisted Living Complex, the Niverville Medical Centre, Niverville Seniors Housing Inc., the Niverville Fire Fighters and First Responders, the PCH Memory Garden, the Blood Donor Clinic, individuals with uninsured medical expenses and a number of other initiatives that have helped Niverville grow and become the community that it is today.
We are excited to share with you as we look to continue this work under the newly-branded The Niverville Foundation.

Keith Bueckert
Keith along with his wife Danielle and their triplets make their home in Niverville. For the last 20 years Keith has been employed by the Winnipeg Fire Department while volunteering on the Niverville Fire and Emergency Services for the last 28 years. As a lifelong resident of Niverville, Keith took the position Niverville Fire Chief 10 years ago and advocates for fire safety and EMS training. Keith's commitment and expertise is reflected in the many hours he commits to training and helping within the community. He is a welcome asset to The Foundation Board as he brings much needed perspective to the needs of the Niverville residents. -
Paul Dufour
Married to wife Patti, with 3 children and 8 grandchildren. Paul is retired with 44 years of manufacturing management background within telecommunications, marine and aeronautics industries. He has completed his Certificate in Management and Administration from the University of Manitoba. Paul has spent 30 plus years coaching multiple minor sports at all levels. Paul and Patti have resided in Niverville for the past 11 years.

Rachel Niessen Dyck
Rachel obtained her Chartered Accountant, now CPA, designation in 1997 while working as an auditor for Deloitte. She then practised in both the Cayman Islands for KPMG and subsequently Canada for Deloitte as a practitioner of insolvency and investigative accounting. In 2011 she switched career paths entering the not-for-profit sector and was appointed Director of Finance for Balmoral Hall School for Girls and then in 2019 as Finance Director for Abundance Canada, formerly the Mennonite Foundation. In 2021, she returned to her roots to work in Niverville as CFO of Artel Farms Ltd., the family farm. Her pride and joy are her three adult children. She has a deep connection to her family, community, and origins growing up in the Niverville area.

Annette Fast
Annette Fast has been a resident of Niverville and surrounding area for most of her life. As a Director of The Foundation for the past 6 years, she makes her home on an acreage west of Niverville. She and her husband, Alex raised their three sons there, and are now proud grandparents of 7. Annette obtained a B.Ed degree from the University of Manitoba and has done accounting duties for their construction business which has since been taken over by their son. She is truly rooted in community as she has volunteered on many committees towards the beautification and enhancement of life for Niverville residents and is proud of the various construction projects. She was recently recognized as a recipient of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee award for her volunteerism and dedication.

Ludolf Grollé
Educated in the United Kingdom and Europe, Ludolf has a distinguished background in banking and finance, starting his career at Chase Manhattan Bank in London. He held senior roles in major companies, including M.I.P.A controller at JP Morgan in Europe, Global Controller Client Services at SSA International and Global Enterprise Manager Major Accounts at JD Edwards, culminating in a Senior Partnership with an International Management Consultancy. Ludolf retired in 2006. A multi-lingual professional, Ludolf qualified as extra-mural lecturer for the University of Wales in Adult Education prior to retirement. After retiring, Ludolf pursued a full-time career in art, founding Grollé Fine Art in Canada in 2014.Ludolf remains committed to driving fundraising initiatives for local charities, events and projects. Ludolf resides in Niverville with his wife Diane and their two dogs, Marshall and Hunter, and continues to nurture his love of painting and art. In 2025, Ludolf further demonstrated his commitment to the arts and community by opening The Canadian Art Gallery online for Canadian artists, aiming to promote the inherent culture of the prairies both nationally and internationally. “I look forward to serving our community in my role on the Board of The Niverville Foundation”. -
Libby Hanna
Libby Hanna has been a committed resident of Niverville and the surrounding area her whole life. With her involvement on various boards from the Niverville Credit Union to Providence University College & Seminary Board, she is an integral voice in the Niverville community. Along with her husband Chris, a Niverville town councillor, they spend their time with grandchildren and running their local business, Wiebe Investments. Libby was vital in bringing the daycare to Niverville and has seen many initiatives come to fruition with her strong presence in the community.

Mariska Loeppky
Mariska Loeppky obtained her Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2005 and spent 13 years working for an accounting firm in Winnipeg as a tax specialist. Since 2015, she works as a tax and estate planning specialist at a wealth management firm. Mariska moved to Niverville in 2014 with her husband Graeme and their two daughters. She has been involved in her local church as Congregational Care Elder and Finance Elder and more recently has joined the National Board of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in Canada.

Ken Rempel
Ken obtained a B.S.A, in Agricultural Economics and Farm Management from the University of Manitoba as well obtaining the ICD.D designation, after completing the Institute for Corporate Directors - Rotman Directors Education Program. Ken grew up in Niverville, and has been employed in the Agribusiness and Finance sectors of Southeast Manitoba for his entire career, including his current role as CEO of Niverville Credit Union. He currently serves on a number of committees with Credit Union Central of Manitoba, and has previously served as a director of K Line Management Ltd., The Manitoba Pork Council, and Linden Christian School.
